SJK (T) RAJAJI
On the 24th of July 2018, we as a group from KDU University Colege Penang payed a visit to a primary school in Penang known as SJK(T) Rajaji, Ayer Itam to initiate voluntarily community service as part of our assignment for our Public Relations Subject.
We gathered around the school at 9.30 and were assigned to our respective tasks which includes

Refurbishing the gates and grills of the school with colored paints.

Painting the pillars of the building structure

Touching up to the bulletin boards

Remade and revived the fish pond which was unused for decades come to life
We conducted our tasks with full dedication and responsibility with minimal distractions to the school while classes were ongoing. The school staff and even the students were very friendly and polite towards us. We felt very welcomed and appreciated for all of our hard work that we have done there. By the end of the day, we actually gained a lot of experience from this successful activity. Such experiences are priceless and it will deem very beneficial for us in the future if we were to come across a community service project like this again.
