What we've done
DECEMBER 2017
CHESHIRE HOME PROJECT
The students from Youth Community Engagement Club KDUPG have conducted several small scale business related activities in 2017 and achieved the sales target of the year.
The profit of the sales activities were donated to Cheshire Home in Penang .The students have donated 3 wheelchairs worth RM 2000 and handcraft materials worth RM 500 for them to have a sustainable life and income.

YOUTH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT CLUB
Youth Community Engagement Club was formed and started by a group of 16 students of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Media Production from KDU Penang University College.The purpose of this club is to encourage young social entrepreneurs to venture in business world and create a great social impact in the society.
JANUARY 2018
CHESHIRE HOME CSR PROJECT
The students from KDU University College Penang under the Youth Community Engagement Club have conducted a corporate social responsibility service for 14 weeks.
Several small scale business related activities have been carried out in 2018 and have achieved the sales target of the year.
The profit of the sales activities were donated to Cheshire Home in Penang. The students have carried out workshops, movie screenings, handcrafting activities and personal talks in Penang Cheshire Home.
JUNE 2018
Charity project
The students from KDU University College Penang have conducted a fund raising event known as Fungasm 2018. They have achieved a milestone profit of which will be donated back to the society and also contribute heavily to those who are in need.

Profits earned from the fund raising were primarily used for:

Making several successful projects to increase and also to enhance the facilities of certain schools in Penang.

Donation towards the reciprocal walkers in Penang.

Donation of walking canes to 2 old folks' homes, "Peter' Home Care" and "Lerling Home" respectively.

Successful event were also carried out in YMCA, SJK(T) Rajaji, SJK(C) Sin Min and other several old folks' homes.
