No Means No

The initial idea of the ‘No Means No’ project wanted to educate children between the ages of 7 to 12 years old on sexual harassment. It was aimed to ensure that young children will be able to defend themselves in an event they find themselves in a situation where they were being sexually harassed.

With this in mind, this project was made to target children all over Penang Island. The objectives of the project were divided up into two main goals. The aim of the ‘No Means No’ project was to cultivate awareness and instill knowledge about the matter above through education as a means to curb sexual harassment among young children. The objectives of the project were divided up into 2 main goals. The first was to educate children between ages of 7 to 12 years old on topics regarding sexual harassment within the month of April while the second was to ensure children will be able to defend themselves in an event they find themselves in a situation of being sexually harassed in Penang Island by April 2019.
