DAY  7 - Physio & Arts Craft Making

​

We were being guided on physiotherapy procedures by the head physiotherapist about how we should deal with patients with physical disabilities as well as handcrafts and sewing courses by the residents there. This particular activity works the other way around. Instead of us organizing games and activities we took this opportunity to allow the residents of Penang Cheshire Home to teach us things like physiotherapy and also certain crafting skills which we have got no hands-on experience on. This is an interesting approach as we allow them an opportunity to guide us instead of us constantly carrying out activities for them, It was a fruitful lesson to us as we managed to produce results of end products and the residents also did enjoyed themselves.
